We have taken care of talent research and booking for Tech Spirit Barcelona 2023.
The Project
Taking place at La Llotja de Mar in Barcelona on the 12th and 13th of December, Tech Spirit Barcelona is a local tech community gathering. It blends global outlook with local ambition, aiming to foster connections among entrepreneurs, companies, and investment funds, both national and international. The event also highlights success stories from Barcelona's tech scene.
To encourage networking, Tech Spirit provides an outdoor space for lunch, as well as cocktails in the evenings. Odd Spaces tasked us with the curation and booking of the DJs providing the music ambiance during in these two moments of the day.
Our Work
To provide the best atmosphere for each moment, we selected Miramizu and Marta Mer, two of the most exciting upcoming talents from Barcelona’s music scene. They provided a musical selection that ranged from smooth 90’s R&B and Rap for lunch time, to House music and UK Garage in the evenings.
Miramizu
Originally from Jordan and now based in Barcelona, Miramizu was in charge of providing the music during lunch time. Her usual repertoire spans from 90's R&B and Hip Hop to the latest innovations in Club Music. However, for Tech Spirit, she delved furher into her DJ collection, presenting a selection of her smoothest and grooviest tracks.
Marta Mer
Resident host at RBL and one of the most sought-after DJs in the Barcelona at the moment, Marta Mer took charge of the music during the evening cocktail sessions. She grasped the assignment effortlessly and curated a selection that smoothly transitioned from 2-Step Garage to mellow, hypnotic House and Techno as the night unfolded.
